The Fugu-Leong Gambit} 4... dxe3 5. Bxe3 Bb4+ 6. Nc3 Bxc3+ 7. bxc3 {This double
d pawn is not as bad as it appears to be. Black has taken his good Bishop and
exchanged it for my QN and in the process weakened his kingside.} 7... Nc6 8.
Bd3 d6 9. h3 {To prevent the nasty Bishop pin on my KN. If Black pins my KN
then I will probably be on the defensive, which is not good.} 9... O-O 10. O-O
Re8 11. Qc2 11... h6 {A definite weakness on Black's kingside. I could sac my
Black square B on h6 after playing Qc1 or Qd2.} 12. Rad1 {A critical R move.
If there is any kind of combinational fireworks the Black Q will be in direct
line of fire from my QR.} 12... b6 13. Qc1 Bb7 14. Bxh6 gxh6 15. Qxh6 Ne5 16.
Ng5 {I decided against playing 16.Nxe5 because after Black plays 16...Rxe5 his
R will dislodge my Q at h6 by playing to h5. The move I played was better
because if Black plays NxB then my QR gets activated and can play to either g3
or d4 then h4.} 16... Nxd3 17. Rxd3 Be4 18. Rg3 Bg6 19. Nxf7 {I had thought
about this move for awhile. It seems I can win back the Black B for the N sac.}
19... Kxf7 20. Qxg6+ Ke6 21. Qg7 {
This I believe is the correct move to win back the minor piece.} 21... Re7 22.
Re3+ Kd7 23. Qxf6 Rxe3 24. Qxd8+ {I am forced to go into an endgame. If I
tried any kind of checks such as Qf5+ Black's R could escape with Re6.} 24...
Rxd8 25. fxe3 Rh8 26. Rf7+ Kd8 27. Kf2 {
Now the real question is can I win this endgame?} 27... Rh4 28. Rf4 Rh5 29. Kf3

Rh7 a5 37. h5 Rh4+ 38. Kd3 a4 39. h6 Rg4 40. g7 Kf7 41. Rh8 41... Rxg7 {
This Black R sac is forced, but it definitely leads to a lost endgame.} 42.
